Henry McClendon, Jr., is the Michigan Regional Representative for the IIRP. He is leading an effort to transform his hometown of Detroit, Michigan, into the nation’s first large “Urban Restorative City.” Henry brings a wealth of experience to this role. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University. He served as Executive Assistant to the late Detroit Mayor Coleman A. Young, Sr., Prison Fellowship’s Southeast Michigan Area Director, Youth Development Director for New Detroit, Inc., Skillman Foundation Program Officer and a former U.S. Army Reserve Officer. Henry is also the Vice Chair of the IIRP Board of Trustees.
